GERMAN MUSIC PANORAMA

Since 2003, Nuits sonores festival dedicated each year a major part of its program to the complexity and the diversity of the German electronic music scene and its contemporary culture. We have invited labels, festivals and medias, organised expositions, shown documentaries and presented performers, visual artists and musiciens.

In 2007, the interest in the German music and art culture take a step ahead with the creation of the German Music Panorama, in collaboration with the Goethe Institut.

In 2008, the Carte Blanche program of Nuits sonores festival was dedicated to Berlin. About twenty artists from Berlin (musiciens, Djs, visual artists, vjs, performers etc.) have been programmed within the festival. Multiple movies were shown, and discussions about the history and presence of Berlin City were organized.

For the 6th edtion of the Gerlan Music Panorama this year, Nuits sonores invites once more to discover the variety of the german electronic music culture.
