C/o Pop (Germany)

Over 35,000 visitors, more than 50 shows and over 150 bands and artists, that is the most successful result for the c/o pop festival in 2011. Since 2004, the festival is held once a year in Cologne. Because unlike other festivals, the c/o pop festival involves the whole city, integrating unusual venues such as various Museums or the Cologne Philharmonic Hall. Including the C'n'B - Creativity & Business Convention, a unique platform for the creative industries with a focus on the digital content sectors, c/o pop once again bridged the gap between music, pop culture and the creative industries. With over 130 speakers and over 60 panels, presentations, lectures and workshops, the convention offered an audience of over 1.000 entertainment industry professionals the platform to make new contacts, engage thermselves creatively, and discuss current developments and impulses. And once again, the international festival network »Europareise« formed the backbone of both the festival and the convention. It is primarily aimend at festivals and institutions around the world. In 2011 representatives from around 55 festivals and institutions from 24 different countries took part. »Europareise« offers the perfect opportunity to get in touch and do business with the German music and creative industries as well as with many international partners from the entertainment business.
